Professional Digital Portrait Photography

Portraits of people are often the hardest to do. How does one capture the essence of another human being in one fraction of time? I prefer natural portraits of people, real portraits as opposed to studio or posed portraits of people. Sometimes the best portait is the one that has been taken unawares when the subject is interacting naturally with another person, with an animal, with his own thoughts or with her environment.
